$$. The Scarlet Dago is a small boutique Hotel just off the main Jalan Dago stretch. If you are expecting sexy and risqué from its name, you will be sorely disappointed. This is a stylish family hotel that is geared towards families looking for 2 –bed roomed suites and living areas.

The Hotel in on the Northern end of Jalan Dago. The Dago FOs are a few minutes away, although you will still have to take a short cab ride if you intend to spend a lot of time at the Rhiau FOs. The small road in front of the Scarlet gets crowded so insist on a room at the back.

Being on the North end also means lots of eating choices, including the Cafe Halaman next door, and Thai Palace across the road from the Sheraton. For the kids, theres a Mc Donalds just across the road.

The Scarlet Dago has a fair number of regular rooms. The big draw are its suites that have 2 bedrooms, and large balconies.

The rooms are plush. All boast flat screen TVs, tea making facilities, and quality finishes in the bathrooms. Even the beds are comfortable, apparently imported from America.

One small disappointment is the absence of a swimming pool. There is free Wifi throughout the Hotel.
